SCHOOL CROSSING GUARDS (part-time):
Part-time Crossing Guard Positions available. Safely cross school
students on their way to and from school in the City of Lebanon.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (full-time):
This is a highly responsible administrative
assistant position. This employee is expected to perform highly responsible and
confidential tasks assigned by the Chief of Police or his/her designee. This
employee must make a variety of decisions requiring knowledge of municipal and
departmental organization, rules, regulations and procedures and maintains
important, complex and confidential records and composes letters and reports.
This employee must have knowledge of and ability to assist the Chief of Police
in budget preparation and maintenance of budgetary records. Performs as
Secretary to the Civil Service Commission for both Police and Fire. Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
RECYCLING/REFUSE COORDINATOR (part-time):
This position will have primary responsibility
for coordinating the recycling efforts of the City of Lebanon and for providing
public education regarding recycling activities. The position is also
responsible for grants applications and disbursements and statistical
reporting. This is a part-time position Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
VOLUNTEER FIRE CHIEF:
The Volunteer Fire Chief serves as the Officer In Charge (OIC) at
fire calls and fire-related incidents in the absence of or direction by the
Fire Chief. Responsible for overseeing hazardous materials responses to the
operations level in the absence of the Fire Chief. The work involves
responsibility for the prevention and protection of life and property from
fires through the direction of all fire-fighting forces and activities. The
position makes administrative and operational decisions pertaining to fire
fighting and fire prevention standards. The Volunteer Fire Chief is directly responsible
to the Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief.
Experience:
- Working knowledge of modern firefighting, fire prevention and
rescue methods. 5 years (Preferred)
Education:
- PA State Fire Academy Firefighter II Certification or a related
field, supplemented by considerable administrative experience or equivalent
on-the-job experience. (Required)
Residency:- Residency must be within a reasonable distance of the City
limits, as approved by the Mayor and Fire Chief.
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE/PAYROLL PROCESSOR
(full-time):
Accounts Receivable/Payroll position is
responsible for ensuring accurate and timely receipt of accounts receivable.
Enters daily cash receipts and prepares daily balancing report for deposit.
Enters monthly invoices and tracks payment history of customers. Monitors
accounts receivable subsidiary ledger and reconciles it to the general ledgers. This position also processes payroll biweekly
and all related federal, state, local payroll tax reports as well as other
mandatory and voluntary deductions.
Processing all quarterly and yearly payroll reports. Monday through
Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR:
This
employee performs highly responsible work directing all municipal public works
activities. This employee is responsible
for the supervision, operation and maintenance of a wide variety of municipal
public works activities.
Responsibilities include overseeing contracted engineering services and
providing assistance and services to other departments in connection with the
planning and execution of public works improvements. This employee directs the
City’s maintenance and repair of public works, ensuring the prompt, accurate
and logical execution of the priority tasks of the various departments of the
City.
This employee supervises technical, skilled and
unskilled employees engaged in maintenance, operation and repair of public
works facilities. This employee’s work
