Lebanon is experiencing an exciting time. There are many promising revitalization and economic development projects underway both in the Downtown and throughout the City, that will have a positive impact on our community in the coming year. Lebanon is supportive of the projects underway and we will ensure quality of life issues are addressed.
Our police and fire departments work with the community to make our city a safe place for to live, work and visit. The Department of Public Works ensures that our streets, parks and public buildings are clean, as well as, properly maintained and that our water supply is of the highest quality. Our housing inspectors will continue to focus on systematic inspections in neighborhoods and working with residents to clean up problem properties. This is already having a positive impact on our City’s housing stock and the value of homes in the City.
Our emphasis on quality of life has also increased the number and participation of neighborhood groups in our community. Many of these groups are taking on projects to improve and enhance their neighborhoods.
I am hopeful that we can all continue to work together and make the City of Lebanon a place for which we can all be proud – Lebanon, PA Proud.
