To rent a City Park building: A rental application must be completed 15 days prior to the reserved date, along with paying a $300 refundable security deposit (except for pavilions). The rental times 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. The fee is due upon key pickup. Reference the Fees and Regulations and Statement of Agreement attached to the rental application (see next paragraph). Stoever's Dam Park - 946 Miller Street; Northeast section of the City.
This 124-acre park offers camping, picnicking, canoeing, fishing, and hiking. Facilities include the Nature Barn, the Lebanon Community Theater, pavilions, and ball fields.
The Nature Barn is available for rent at a cost of $75.00 This building has restrooms and kitchen facilities and seating for 75 people.
Camping is $2.00 per night per person. Sites with electrical hook-up are an additional $10.00 per night. The park has 7 electrical campsites and 7 non-electrical sites. Contact the park rangers at 269-0062 or 274-3850 for camping permits.
Garden plots are available for rent at of cost of: 20 x 20-$10; 20 x 40-$15; 20 x 80-$25. There are 8 plots available for rent. Contact the Department of Administration at 273-6711 ext. 2406 to rent garden plots. The following garden plot registration form may be printed, completed, and returned to the Recreation Department:

Boats: There is a $50.00 fee to keep boats at Stoevers, which must be paid by January 1st if stored on a yearly basis. The following boat storage application form may be printed, completed, and returned to the Recreation Department:

Pavilion Rental: There are 2 pavilions for rent at $25.00 for the entire day (8:00 a.m. until dusk) and no security deposit is required. The small pavilion has a maximum capicity of 20 people and does not have electricity, and the larger one accomodates up to 50 people and has electricity. The use of electricity is $10.00 extra at the larger pavilion.
Southwest Park -13th & Washington Street
This park, consisting of 27.5 acres, has baseball and softball fields, basketball and tennis courts, soccer fields, a playground, and restrooms facilities, and the Optimist Building, which may be rented.
Optimist Building - This community building has a fireplace, kitchen and seating for 75 people. It is available for rent at a cost of $150.00. A security deposit in the amount of $300 is due upon reservation of the building.
Coleman Park & Lauther Water Complex 1400 West Maple St.; Route 72 North
This 92-acre park has a swimming pool for adults and children, along with a baby pool. There are also tennis courts, baseball fields, a miniature golf course, a volleyball court, picnic areas, an amphitheater, hiking trails, and a playground.
The Lauther Water Complex opens on May 29, 2010. The pool will be open from noon until 6:00 pm during Memorial Day weekend and the weekend of June 5 and 6, 2010. Starting June 10, the pool will be open 7 days a week thru Labor Day. The pool may be closed during inclement weather. Hours are from noon until 6:00 pm. Several different water features are located in three separate swim areas. The areas accommodate young children, intermediate, and advanced swimmers. Features include 2 water slides, and large slide is 176 long.
The pool admission fee is: adults (18-62) $6.00; students (6-17) $3.00; pre-school (under 6) $2.00; seniors (63+) $4.00. Special group rates: Youth $3.00; Adults $4.00

Pool season passes (photo id. cards) are available at the Department of Public Works, 400 S. 8th Street, Room 220 (717-273-6711 ext. 2432), between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.

Family passes are not available.
There is fee of $5.00 to replace misplaced or lost season passes.

Northeast Park / Youth Center - 511 East Canal Street
This 23.4 acre park has a pond, baseball and softball fields, fenced in lighted street hockey, 4 lighted tennis courts, and a play area. Ice skating is permitted on the pond. The park has two buildings with a concession stand, kitchens and restrooms, which can be rented at a cost of $75.00. This building has restrooms and kitchen facilities and seating for 40 people.
Beautex Park - 129 Van Buren Street This 4.4 acre park contains a baseball field, basketball courts and a tot playground.
Southeast Playground - 193 Walnut Street This 2.3-acre park has basketball courts, a baseball field, and a tot playground.
Progressive Playground - East Weidman & 1st Street
This 2.3-acre park has a basketball court and a large tot playground.
East End Playground - 513 East Lehman Street.
There are also tot lots located at 3rd & Crowell and 6th & Crowell Streets.
Fisher Veterans' Memorial Park - 521 South 9th Street
War memorials are located within this small park.
Veterans Memorial Walkway - 4th to 12th Streets along Quittapahilla Creek
A walkway with benches are on this 5-acre area.
