Public Hearing re CDBG Program

In accordance with the City's Citizen Participation Plan, a public hearing will be held on May 21, 2026, at 4:45 p.m.    The Pre-Council meeting will convene immediately following the public hearing.  The purpose of the hearing is to obtain the views and comments of individuals and organizations concerning the City's housing and community development needs; review the City's CDBG Program and provide an opportunity to the public to comment on program performance; and to provide an opportunity to discuss the Goals and Objectives for the Five-Year Consolidated Plan.

Agencies wishing to request funding must do so in writing by 4:00 p.m. on June 5, 2026.   The City intends to submit its application for FY 2026 funds to HUD on or about July 30, 2026.   The City's FY 2026 CDBG Program allocation will be $706,998, plus anticipated program income of  $20,000.
