Leaf Collection

Leaf collection begins on Monday, November 3....
Leaf collection will begin on Monday, November 3 at 7:00 a.m. Collection will end the week of December 8, or the first measurable snowfall, whichever occurs first. No leaf collection will occur on November 11, 27, and 28, 2025.
Collection will be for leaves only. Piles with branches, grass or other yard waste will not be picked up.
There will be no specific day of the week for collection in designated sections of the city. As the volume of leaves increases it may take longer for crews to complete a weekly citywide collection. Crews will make every effort to pass through each section of the city on a weekly basis, weather and volume of leaves permitting. All residents are encouraged to place leaves street side the weekend prior to each collection week. Residents are encouraged not to place leaves out during the work week after the crews have been through that area. Residents are asked to wait until the next weekend prior to the new collection week to place additional leaves street side. We must continue to minimize the potential to clog the storm water drains and ask for the cooperation of residents accordingly.
Please place un-bagged/un-tarped material in the gutter line 1 foot from the curb. When placing leaves in the gutter area of the street, avoid blocking the storm drains and intersections. Leaf piles must be 10 feet from vehicles for collection.
